Kingston, NY— Stockade FC is pleased to announce the “Stockade Futures” program with the launch of our U-23 (“Under-23”) team. The intent of the Stockade Futures program is to offer accessible opportunities for players to grow their skills as they work towards being selected for Stockade FC’s First Team, which plays in the NPSL.
“We are thrilled to begin our Under-23 program and provide a platform for more players in the Hudson Valley to showcase their skills,” said Dan Hoffay, Stockade FC Technical Director.
“Stockade FC U-23” will begin competing in the EDP starting this summer. The season will run in June and July and the team will be composed of local high school and college players. The schedule will be announced as soon as it becomes available (and we do not expect U-23 game dates to conflict or overlap with the First Team).
“This is extremely exciting,” said First Team Head Coach Jamal Lis-Simmons. “This will give us another chance to get high quality training and match action for more players in our system.”
