Poughkeepsie, NY – TJ Zehner, a former two-season goalkeeper for Stockade FC and Sage College standout, has joined the First Team Coaching Staff as Goalkeeping Coach.
Zehner, under David Lindholm in 2017 and 2018, featured in 3 matches in 2018, making 1 start behind Steve Skonieczny. At Sage, Zehner was a staple in net for the Gators. In 4 seasons, Zehner would make 62 starts, earning 21 shutouts and finishing his stellar career with a 0.93 GAA (Goals against average).
“TJ has been a part of this club since the very early years and we are excited to be adding him to our First Team staff. The experience and connections he gained while working with the Futures, no doubt, prepares him for this opportunity,” said Stockade FC Technical Director Dan Hoffay.
Over the last 2 summers, Zehner has been working within the Club as the Stockade Futures Goalkeeping Coach and Assistant Coach under Matt Quick.
